I was hired as a first employee of the company. For the next 2+ years, I single handedly delivered and managed all design verticals. Below are some of my roles and responsibilities listed:

  1. Conceptualized and designed a 'Sales Funnel' management tool from the state ‘Zero to One’ built around the MSP IT sales process which has an Integrated CRM, Quote Builder, Technical Assessments, Reports, and Analytics to streamline and accelerate sales growth. As a result, we gained more than 100 paying customers in less than a year and raised $4.1M in early 2020.
  2. Being the first hire, I have developed the brand identity of the product from scratch and a modified design system for the frontend team to kick start. This ensured a smoother penetration of the product in the SaaS market in a period less than 4 months.
  3. Led the research and designed a ‘drag-drop block’ based document editor, which allows customers to build beautiful sales proposals by adding blocks for text, media, e-signature, products with real-time pricing pulled from various distributors, and many other features. This is the ‘flagship feature’ of the product which drives the maximum sales.
  4. Rendered over 50+ feature-based prototypes of the product for customer onboarding and product demos, as a result, monthly traffic and number of customer signups grew 10X in volume month-on-month.
  5. Worked closely with the backend and product team to decide on the information architecture through design workflows. Also worked with the frontend team back and forth to re-evaluate the design implementation to ensure smoother testing of the product’s features.
  6. Created and managed ‘Design Sprints’ weekly for better tracking, planning and prioritization of product’s features and ensured designs to always stay ahead of engineering for smoother implementation of the features during deployments.
  7. Organized and attended customer calls to record feedback of their overall user experience as well as kept a record of their upcoming feature requests or reasons for churning out, and created design tickets accordingly.
