Below are some of my successful accomplishments (all live products listed) during my tenure at PhonePe.

1. Designed end to end 'Risk Operating System', “Guardian by PhonePe” for industry's fintech orgs/banks to reduce losses and build trust from zero to one. This ecosystem consists of:

   • A real-time evaluation engine built on a no-code platform that allows you to set up rules or deploy models real-time
   • Run multiple controlled experiments in shadow mode to assess results
   • Use anomaly detection and ML models to detect suspicious fraud patterns
   • Manage rules and data science models with fraud analytics processes
   • Smart Case Management System which is directly integrated to official govt. fraud reporting system
   • Centralised Graph Network to draw out fraudulent patterns

   

   

   

2. Designed a Component Dependency Graph network tool (zero to one)

   • Service mesh: To analyze service interactions with time
   • Real time Anomaly detection and alert noise reduction
   • Root cause analysis and impact analysis during service outages
     • The graph can be joined with anomaly detection data to identify the root cause of an outage and impacted systems
     • It can use uptime service data to notify the systems impacted if a service is down
   • Context (or use case) information on the edges to get the dependency data per use case

3. Designed an end to end “Generalized Authentication and Authorization” system which powers almost all PRODs of PhonePe.

4. Designed Enterprise Design System based out of Ant Design System for quicker implementation and maintain standardisation among all public facing enterprise applications. Also, created a framework for designers and developers collaboration.

5. Designed an Alert Management System which consisted of a no code of interface for PMs and POD stakeholders to configure specific business alerts and monitor on call live updates.

   

6. Created Enterprise Product Design framework across org for designers to guide them through in successfully delivering functional enterprise design with scale in mind.

7. Mentored and prepared product design scope for level I product designers and managed them over a period of 2 years.

8. Handled Recharge and Bill Pay (RCBP) POD for first 6 months of my tenure. During this tenure, I delivered new features and IA revamps for millions of Indian users. One of my successful implementation was the introduction of first in industry: “platform fees” on recharges.
